ACP Avinash Verma (Manoj Bajpayee) and his SCU are called upon by the Commissioner of Police to investigate a mass shoot-out at the Night Owl Bar in Mumbai. Layers begin to peel at something bigger, deeper, and darker at play.

“Silence 2,” starring Manoj Bajpayee on Zee5, initially lacks momentum but picks up later due to Bajpayee’s impeccable performance. Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film follows ACP Avinash Verma (Bajpayee) investigating a mass shooting at the Night Owl Bar in Mumbai. While the film isn’t entirely predictable, it starts off slowly. The main focus of the investigation is a young girl involved in the escort service, who discovers incriminating evidence on a client’s computer before being attacked. The client turns out to be the mastermind behind a girl trafficking racket, sparking a compelling investigation. Despite lacking depth, the film’s twists and turns make it worth watching, with Bajpayee’s acting holding it together.
